Elections

Elections in The Netherlands is always very interesting. With a majority of the votes having been counted, I guess conclusions can now be made. Even though the christian democrats lost votes, they still got the most votes. Their partner parties however lost a lot of votes and we will not see them back in the government.

Conspiracy Theory 200*

Small disclaimer in advance: These are just my personal viewpoints, based on information I have read, heard, seen everywhere. Your opinion may vary. Chaos in the UK, and all over Europe on airports with a lot of flights towards and from the UK cancelled or heavily delayed by new security measures, after some secret services have “uncovered a conspiracy to blow up multiple airplanes from the UK to the USA”. Twenty-something people have been arrested already, and 5 people are still on the run. It's been too quiet for a while in the western world, so it became time for a new threat. After seeing documentaries like Loose Change, and even this week hearing about a group of dutch students getting massive funding (one million dollar!) for a research that should answer the question “Was the CIA behind the 9/11 attacks?” my opinion is still going into the direction that this new threat is also being staged by the secret services of America in maybe the UK as well. So do I think that the US government and/or secret services are behind New York, Washington, Madrid, London and now again the UK? Yes, that is exactly what I think. There's too much loose ends in their “proof”, too many of their statements that contain holes or seem to be complete lies. I can only guess as to the reasons of this. It could be that the weapons industry has a strong lobby, they've probably seen a massive decline in their profits since the cold war ended. It could also be set up by the US government itself, because people who depend on you for protection are easier to control. It could even be the US government in an attempt to become the great overpowering world power. With all this “terrorism” all over the world, they can charge into any country they want, or support other countries doing such things, without having to explain themselves any more than “it's part of our war against terror”. I really don't like what is going on. If we don't watch out, we're looking at a world ruled my one mr. George Dubya Bush soon, telling us what to do, what to think, and especially what to believe. We should all be Christians, and believe in everything that Bush says we should believe in. Or will, when finally the US has conquered the world, the puppet master behind Bush finally step forward and declare him/herself emperor? Whatever will happen, it looks like the world is not that fun anymore. Whether the terrorism is real or staged, the solution lies not in the extermination or terrorists, but in the improved behaviour of “the west”. That is something I firmly believe in. Instead of fighting everyone that thinks differently, we should take them serious. Because once we take them serious, they will take us serious. And even the more radical might at least accept that there are people thinking differently. I just hope that this time, they will only stage arresting potential terrorists, instead of killing innocent people again...

Sharing is caring?

Privacy has been a problem in the USA for a long time (though for some reasons on some levels the US is more free than other countries). Europe has so far not become the 'Big Brother' state that the USA is on a lot of levels. However, we've now come one step closer.

Loose Change

A very good documentary on the happenings on 9/11
