Debugging with symfony
At SymfonyCamp last weekend I did a session on Debugging with Symfony. The slides for that presentation are available on slideshare , or here...
My presentation went OK, even though I had the idea I perhaps spoke a bit too fast. This idea was confirmed by the fact that I finished too early. Not that that was such a big problem, because we were running a bit late with all sessions 
SymfonyCamp itself was a great event again this year, kudos to DOP and especially Lambert and Peter for organizing it. Thanks to everyone who attended, presented and simply was there, I had a great time!

Gergely Hodicska: I think one more step would be nice: the toolbar should have a JavaScript interface. This way an Ajax request in debug mode should return a JavaScript call with a JSON object which could show up in the toolbar too. This way it would be easy to debug Ajax request too.I don't know it this is supported yet but I believe it would be a nice feature and would made developer's life easier.

left: I did not mention this in my presentation because I didn't hear about it until earlier during the day, but there is apparently a symfony plugin that offers a special AJAX debug toolbar, which is an excellent idea if you ask me 
I'm not sure if this is just part of the extjs plugin (I think this is where I saw it in a presentation) or actually a seperate plugin, but there is something working already in a plugin.

Firebug or Charles proxy is great too, but a tool like this is much more valuable. The developer can see the queries (can ask an explain for them), the different cache usage and a lot of other info. And while I think that this great that if you have a tool like this you can get some lazier developer to create better quality code.
